Inland Northwest Episcopal Cursillo
Supporting ministries throughout the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane that bring our world to Christ.

WELCOME FROM BISHOP WAGGONER

Dear Friends in Christ:

I welcome the opportunity to commend Cursillo to you. The ministry offered by Cursillo provides spiritually sound ongoing formation in the faith through stronger community and dedicated service in Christ's name.

We in this diocese are fortunate to have Cursillo leaders who are committed to offering this resource to all, and I encourage participation throughout the diocese.

Your brother in Christ,

+Bishop Jim

A LITTLE ABOUT US...

Inland Northwest Cursillo is the Episcopal Cursillo movement of the Diocese of Spokane (eastern Washington and northen Idaho) and is affiliated with the National Episcopal Cursillo movement.

We officially started in May 2003, when our Bishop, James Waggoner, Jr., approved our Pastoral Plan and appointed the first Secretariat members. Our current Secretariat members are listed on the Secretariat page.

We have an active Ultreya in the Spokane area, meeting the second Saturday of each month (except months when there's a Cursillo weekend -- then we go to the closing instead!). We hope to develop Ultreyas in other parts of the diocese as we grow. All interested persons are welcome at Ultreyas, regardless of denomination or whether they have attended a Cursillo (or similar) weekend.

We hold two co-ed Cursillo weekends each year, in the spring and the fall. The first six were at the diocese's beautiful Camp Cross on the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene in northern Idaho. As of October 2007 we are holding weekends in churches, to make them more accessible to people throughout our very large diocese.

Please also see the "What is Cursillo?" page for more information.
